The best shrimp taco recipe

Food is honestly my favorite thing. It is the one thing that never disappoints me and never fails to keep me happy. I also love all types of food from sushi to pasta. One of my favorite foods ever since I was a kid is tacos. My mom always makes tacos still to this day. I discovered a recipe that I enjoy very much. I found an amazing shrimp taco recipe.

The best shrimp tacos call for a wide variety of flavors.

The recipe calls for frozen shrimp, tortillas, lettuce, cheese, avocado, mayo, butter, sriracha, garlic salt, onion powder, pepper, salt, and Slap Ya Mama cajun seasoning.

I start the recipe off by adding butter to a pan and letting it get warm. The key is using butter to cook the shrimp instead of olive oil. Butter gives off the best flavor and the extra calories do not hurt. After the butter is melted and starting to cook I add the shrimp. After adding the shrimp, I add the seasonings which are garlic salt, onion powder, salt, pepper, and Slap Ya Mama which is a delicious cajun seasoning. The Cajun seasoning makes the shrimp so spicy but adds the perfect flavor that these tacos need.

When the shrimp is fully cooked, keep them in the pan. They do not need to be removed from it because they may lose their flavor. Staying in the butter mixture will help keep the shrimp moist and flavorful. Now since the shrimp is cooked, start making the sauce. Take the avocado and smash it in a bowl with mayo. I do not have exact measurements so just gradually add more mayo and taste it for reference. When the avo-mayo mixture is complete, add sriracha and more seasonings if you would like. I just keep it simple with the avocado, mayo, and sriracha since the shrimp is seasoned well.

Lastly, assemble the shrimp tacos. Take a flour (or corn) tortilla then add the shrimp, then lettuce, the sauce, and top with shredded cheese. I use the Mexican cheese blend.

Now eat and enjoy!

The easiest homemade salad dressing recipe

Salads are honestly a top-tier meal. They never go wrong and always taste delicious. The fun thing about salads is that they do not have to be boring and there are so many different kinds of dressings in the world. It is hard to find one you do not like. I hate the stigmas around salads in certain American diet cultures. To help change let me show you an easy salad dressing recipe that does not have to be used on just salads.

I recently discovered a perfect salad dressing and I am here to show you the easiest salad dressing recipe and it is also tasty. Personally, I enjoy apple cider vinegar a lot, which is the first ingredient. Start by adding a small amount of apple cider vinegar to a mini bowl (about a spoonful). Then I add olive oil and a little bit of lemon juice.

After adding those ingredients, mix them all together. Also, I do not have exact measurements for the food, I recommend just eyeballing the ingredients and slowly adding them to the salad bowl. It is better to add less instead of adding more since the apple cider vinegar is very overpowering. After adding the olive oil and lemon juice, crush some Himalayan pink salt and black pepper into the mix. Voila! You are now complete with the dressing. I love how it does not require many ingredients and takes less than 5 minutes to complete.

The easiest salad dressing recipe really is that easy. My favorite way to pair this dressing is on mixed greens with feta and croutons. I like my salad plainer since the dressing is vinegary but feel free to add cucumbers, chickpeas, tomatoes, onions, etc to it. I need to do that next time. Lastly, this can also be perfect for marinating chicken, pasta salad, a bread dip, and much more.

Benefits of Lemon Juice

Lemon juice is so delicious and lemons are used to make a wide variety of recipes and home remedies. I personally love lemon juice so much and it is so yummy. Lemon juice has so many benefits and can be a cure for many different diseases and more.

One lemon juice benefit is how it has huge amounts of vitamin C. The easiest way to get vitamin C from a lemon is to juice it or cut it into slices, then squeeze the juice into the water. A whole lemon is about 18 mg of vitamin C. We need about 90 mg each day, at least. Lemon water is also so delicious and is good for weight loss, but it also slows down period flow- if you need it to lessen because of swimming, etc. Fun fact, the peel of the lemon is the part with the highest amount of vitamin C.

Lemon juice benefits our immune system. Not just because it has vitamin C but it helps with certain cancers, heart disease, and blood pressure. The more lemon juice that is consumed, the lower the blood pressure is in a subject. There is no research to exactly determine why this happens but as long as it works, that is what's important!

Cancer is a horrible disease, still with no cure. A study shows that lemon juice is effective in diminishing the growth of leukemia cells. The flavonoids in lemon juice are high in antioxidants which interfere with the spread and growth of cancer cells. Flavonoids make lemons yellow.

Back to the lemon juice home remedies- let's find some fun things to make with lemon juice. Lemon juice benefits the immune system and it has been used to cure a common cold. One way to drink it is by squeezing fresh lemons into a cup, then throwing the piece inside. This allows the flavor to keep increasing and it is very healthy. Then, add honey and ginger. Honey and ginger are very good for the human body and very tasty as well.

Be careful to not consume lemon juice every day if you get migraines easily and to save the enamel on your teeth from eroding drastically.
